January 25, 2016- in Aldo Bonzi with Elder Ponce

ok this is the last time I’m typing a letter here. I’m sending pic of letters after this. These computers are ridiculous I’m about to punch a hole in this monitor. I thought I was becoming more patient but this computer has just proved that wrong. Ok so it was a super good week full of lots of milagros and stuff and things. The biggest miracle is that the relief society is now washing our clothes. That just saved me a ton of money and time. The second miracle is that we finally changed to a new apartment. We moved from like the worst apartment in the mission to one of the best. The only problem is that the water comes out yellow right now and we don’t have a filter. I’m gonna be buying bottled water for a while. The worldwide broadcast thing for all the missionaries in the world was super great. I learned how to set up the satellite and projector in the stake center. It was cool to watch it with all the zone. My favorite part was elder Andersen who talked about speaking about and teaching about Christ in every situation. Also I liked what elder Bednar taught about the Spirit. It was weird to see him teaching not behind a pulpit. Sometimes I forget that the prophets have legs.  This s button does not work, Mom will you fix this mess of ssss fo me.  Me and elder Ponce are together for another transfer-  I think I’m  gonna be here for three more month and I’m pretty excited about that. We have a ton of people that we are teaching. the coolest was  when we went with the bishop’s son to teach one of his friends, when we knocked the door the mom came out and I thought she was gonna yell at us until she saw the bishop’s son and her face just lit up. She invited us in without asking us who we were. We taught her son who accepted the invitation to be baptized. He thought it was so cool that his friend had the Priesthood. He came to church and it was just solid all around. That’s most of the big news- like my whole zone is training right now so it’s gonna be fun. I love all of you guys- you look like you’re having fun and enjoying life. I want to know how much Kyle was hang cleaning when he broke his back.
Love you guys tons and wait for the written letter that I’m gonna write and send a pic of next week. Happy  bday kyle.

January 18, 2016- in Aldo Bonzi with Elder Ponce

So this was a pretty crazy week. Lots of new people and lots and lots of walking. My area is like all hills. It’s pretty cool how everything like is built into slopes. We have to climb up and down and it’s just great especially since it’s like a billion degrees outside. The biggest problem that we have been having is that we’re gonna be getting two new elders here in the area. We’ve been struggling with the elders that are in charge of the apartments to get everything figured out for the changes that are coming up in a week. We’re trying to get it all set up cause the new elders are gonna have to do a whitewash here. And they can’t have a certain part of our area cause they will get lost and die. There aren’t like street names or anything in one part so that makes it a lot more difficult. Other than that it’s just been really normal. Sorry that this letter is so short I’ll write more next week ok.

Love you all you all look good in the pics!

January 11, 2016- in Aldo Bonzi with Elder Ponce

Dear family, I don’t have a ton of time to write because we’re sending in suggestions for transfers today, but we’ve had some cool things happen this week. One I gave my first English class this week. it was really successful, we have menos activos investigators and new people there- it was good- a little frustrating cause a lot of people just want to learn slang and song lyrics, but it was fun.  Also we had exchanges with the assistants. They live and work in Banfield, which is super super super cheto. Their apartment is ridiculous. It’s on the 9th floor. We went up in an elevator. I haven’t been in an elevator in forever. And it was the first time I’ve slept with a/c since the MTC. It was a fun day. A lot like my time in Quilmes, but even more dificil. We clapped a ton of doors, but it was fun and we ran into my old comp Elder Pallauta which was the best. Google mercado central in BA- we went there to eat with Daniela’s family.  They have a restaurant there. It was really good to talk with them, they’re interested as well. Also after a year and a half of asking people Daniela’s mom made me tongue. It was really good a little chewy, but good. Love you guys a ton!

“We started the year off well- baptism of Daniela Villagomez”

Guys, I hate this computer so I’m gonna keep it short. So it was a pretty good week. The 1st wasn’t very eventful for us. The fireworks didn’t even wake me up in the night. The biggest and best part of the week was Daniela’s baptism. It was an adventure getting her there. We really just had to get the testimony out of her that she has always had. That and getting her mom to sign the thing. It was really cool- I confirmed her and that was a really spiritual experience. It was different from everything else I had felt before in the mission. Later that day we had a ward activity where we got the whole barrio together in a bit park thing where there’s always a ton of people. We set up a stand and divided into groups to go contact people. I was with a recent convert and two kids with 13 and 14 years. It was fun getting them to do contacts even though they were pretty nervous. It was a good activity and we got a lot of references and contacts and everything.
Love you guys tons hope nobody had too crazy of a week!

Questions:
1- what did you do for New Years? was it crazy in Aldo Bonzi?
1-we went to a member’s house. My comp had to do skype. It was actually pretty boring. I just wanted to go home and sleep.

2- I'm gonna send some more paper? need anything specific?
2- just pictures

3- What's been your biggest challenge this week?
3-we had to get Daniela’s mom to sign the paper for her baptism. She wasn’t gonna do it. I fasted and she signed and it was great.

4- Who has been your favorite person this week? why?
4-probaly Daniela- she likes working with the missionaries. She’s been studying the Bible since she was like 8. It seems like everyone here has and they love talking about it. I usually just sing in the streets to help lighten the mood. But I am learning a lot about why Sunday is the day of rest. I didn’t know that they talked that much about it.
